My experience with data is rooted in the desire to do more by leveraging data. After graduating from UCLA, I did advocacy and fundraising work for nonprofits such as National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Through these experiences, I became interested in the intersection of technology and social good. How can we become more effective at fostering relationships with donors and stakeholders? What kind of tools are available? How can we create content mobilizes and inspires our donors? I sought to answer these questions and in the process, I discovered my passion for data.

As Systems Analyst at AACI, a health and wellness nonprofit, I helped managers monitor patient care and make data-driven decisions through reports and dashboards. While working at AACI, I completed the Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) program at UC Berkeley School of Information. In 2021, I transitioned to Gardner Health Services, a healthcare organization that provides services for underserved populations in the Bay Area. Currently, I serve as their Data Analytics Manager, supervising a team of data analysts who handle validation, reporting, and decision support for the entire organization.

In my free time, you’ll find me checking my steps on my Apple Watch, over-analyzing movies and television, or trying out new recipes.
